Ghent, Belgium – At Xandres stores, as well as online, customers can find garment pieces partly made from recycled garments.

In an exciting step toward circularity, Xandres launches its latest capsule collection, featuring garments made with recycled materials. Available both in stores and online, these pieces represent the culmination of the SCIRT project, a three-and-a-half-year collaboration with textile recycling and research partners to revolutionize the fashion industry by recycling textiles and integrating the recycled content into stylish and wearable designs.

Xandres is now unveiling its exclusive cardigan and skirt, crafted from fabric made of thread sourced from old clothing and featuring 17% recycled wool (post-consumer textiles), 36% recycled polyester (RPET), 25% unprocessed polyester, and 22% unprocessed wool. The recycled nature of the fibres results in subtle variations in color and size, as well as small specks and imperfections in the fabric, which Xandres embraces as part of each garment’s unique character and circular journey. Only 100 pieces of the stylish pied-de-poule two-piece set, have been produced, enhancing their value as limited-edition, collectible items.
